Credit goes to the GT500’s incredible engine: its 5.8L supercharged V8 put down a staggering 662 horsepower and 631 lb-ft of torque at 14 pounds of boost. With Launch Control enabled and a deft touch with the six-speed manual, this snake hissed to 60 mph in only 3.5 seconds, and through the quarter-mile in the mid 11s at 125 mph.

With that kind of power, capable handling and braking is mandatory. SVT tuned the suspension for a crisper, more predictable feel, and equipped with the Performance Package’s electronically adjustable Bilstein dampers, it could pull 1g on the skidpad. Combined with 15-inch Brembos that brought this rocket down from 60 mph in only 101 feet, this GT500 was incredibly balanced and a blast to drive.

Showing just 13,600 miles, this one-owner 2013 GT500 is said to be one of only 1,464 black coupes built. It’s loaded with the SVT Performance Package, the SVT Track Pack, the Electronics Package with navigation, manual Recaro seats, Shaker audio, and more.
