Marking the fifth generation of this iconic American muscle car, in 2010 Chevrolet would debut the latest Camaro with styling that paid homage to their iconic models from the late 1960s. This was not only an all-new model redesigned from the ground-up, but also crucially marked the return of the iconic Camaro which had been absent since 2002. Available in five-different trim levels, a brand-new L99 V8 was offered in select trim levels which developed 400 horsepower and featured cylinder deactivation which enabled the engine to run on four cylinders in urban driving conditions to improve fuel economy.

Other features included fully independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes with four-piston Brembo calipers for SS models. Inside, the cockpit wrapped the driver in a mix of nostalgic design and contemporary tech, featuring a selection of deep-set gauges and retro toggle switches.
