The C6 Corvette was released in 2005 with redesigned styling that boasted a larger cabin and fixed headlights for the first time since 1962. The overall length of the Coupe and Convertible bodies was shortened while the wheelbase was elongated, compared to the C5. The C6 also featured a larger passenger compartment and revised suspension geometry, which came in handy when competing at Le Mans. An LS3 powerplant was provided in 2008, and the increased displacement to 6.2 liters added 7.5 percent more horsepower over the outgoing LS2. The added power was paired with either an upgraded Tremec TR6060 manual transmission or the six-speed 6L90 automatic, and engineers at Chevrolet further refined the steering for the 2008 model year. 

This 2008 Corvette Coupe is finished in Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat over Cashmere leather upholstery and optioned with the 3LT Preferred Equipment Group. The six-speed automatic transmission features paddle shifters, and both body-color and transparent removable roof panels are included.
