The 2008 Cadillac XLR marked the final mid-cycle refresh of Cadillac's flagship luxury roadster, produced from 2004 to 2009. Originally unveiled as the Evoq-inspired concept at the 2003 North American International Auto Show, the XLR entered production in 2004, built alongside the Chevrolet Corvette on GM’s Y-platform at Bowling Green, Kentucky. It distinguished itself with distinctive styling, a power-retractable aluminum hardtop, radar-based adaptive cruise control, Magnetic Ride Control, and a Bulgari-designed instrument cluster.
