Introduced in 2002, the 11th-generation Ford Thunderbird was designed to capture the spirit of the original 1955 model while incorporating modern luxury and performance features. Built exclusively as a two-seat convertible, it featured a power-operated soft top and a removable hardtop, giving owners the option of open-air driving or coupe-like styling.

The 2005 Thunderbird marked the final year of Ford’s retro-styled revival. The T-Bird was powered by a 3.9-liter DOHC V8 rated at 252 horsepower that delivered smooth performance through a five-speed automatic transmission. Ford offered several trim levels, including a special 50th Anniversary Edition that celebrated the Thunderbird’s heritage, although all ’05 Thunderbirds wore 50th Anniversary fender badges.

This example is finished in Torch Red with a white removable hardtop with porthole windows, a black soft top, 17” chrome-plated seven-spoke aluminum wheels, power disc brakes with ABS, electronic traction control, independent front and rear suspension, and power rack-and-pinion steering.

Inside, the sports car features red and black leather-trimmed upholstery with heated seats, a black leather-wrapped steering wheel, red leather-wrapped shift knob, black carpet, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and power windows, door locks, and seats.
