Oldsmobile introduced the Silhouette in 1990 as part of General Motors’ “U-body” minivan program, sharing its platform with the Chevrolet Lumina APV and Pontiac Trans Sport. Among the trio, the Silhouette was the most upscale, marketed as the “Cadillac of minivans” with a focus on premium trim and features. The second-generation model, launched in 1997, carried the nameplate through the final years of Oldsmobile’s existence. The 2003 model year marked one of the last iterations of the Silhouette before Oldsmobile was retired entirely in 2004.
This particular 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette GLS shows just 26,834 miles from new and has had one registered owner according to the included clean Carax history report. Finished in Arctic White over Beige leather, it presents in outstanding condition inside and out, far removed from typical high-mileage, heavily-used examples.
Equipped with a 3.4-liter V6 and four-speed automatic transmission, this Silhouette offers both performance and comfort, with features including heated dual eight-way power front seats, second-row Captain’s chairs, and a third-row 50/50 split bench. Convenience is provided by dual power sliding doors, tri-zone air conditioning, keyless entry, power windows, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio controls.
The vehicle is accompanied by a comprehensive documentation package, including original manuals, window sticker, extensive service receipts, extra keys, and remote fobs. With its combination of exceptionally low mileage, one-owner history, and full provenance, this Silhouette represents a unique opportunity — an unlikely but compelling collector’s piece from the final chapter of America’s oldest car brand.
