By 2002, the R1150GS had entered its fourth production year after debuting in 1999, and featured an air‑cooled 1,130cc boxer engine, producing 85 horsepower, and Telelever front suspension and Paralever rear suspension for improved stability on mixed terrain.

Finished in Mandarin Yellow with a black solo-seat conversion and offered with the factory side hard cases and Givi top case, this 2002 example features Cyclopes auxiliary lighting, an AreoFlow front fairing, Dominator exhaust muffler.
