OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Saab has a rich heritage of innovative thinking and functional, aircraft-inspired design. Saab automobiles combine responsive turbocharged performance, precise control, and state-of-the-art safety engineering, delivering on this legacy by putting drivers firmly and confidently in command of every journey. The driver's seat in a Saab is not just a comfortable place to get from point A to point B, but it is inspired by the cockpit of a high-performance aircraft. Its ergonomically developed seating position and logically arranged controls serve to forge an intuitive link between you and the road. Saab's thoughtful engineering forms the basis of every Saab, resulting in automobiles that elevate the driving experience through strict adherence to purposeful design. Saab automobiles help you maintain an intimate connection to the driving experience.

Saab introduced a limited edition and high-performance version of the 9-3 between 1999 and 2002, called the 'Viggen' (Swedish for Thunderbolt). The car was named after the Saab 37 Viggen aircraft and was developed by Saab in collaboration with the Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) Group. The Saab 900 Concept Coupe, which had been created by the Saab Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) group and produced 230 horsepower, served as the basis for the Viggen production car. The Saab team, led by Peter Leonard and John-Gustav Gudmundsson, was responsible for the project. Only 4,600 9-3 Viggen specification cars were manufactured by Saab.
