The 2000 Chevrolet Corvette represented the fourth year of the revolutionary C5, a generation that elevated both performance and refinement for America’s sports car. Known Imperfections 

• Rock chips on nose and paint scuffs and chips on body 

• The included CARFAX history report lists a “mileage inconsistency” when the reported odometer reading went from 16,049 miles in September 2004 to 12,424 miles in October 2004. Its current New Mexico title from November 2021 shows 20,817 actual miles, and the seller has provided an explanation in the "Additional Information" section below.

The seller states, “This gorgeous Corvette Coupe has extremely low mileage, and a panoramic and body color top. The car has always been kept in a garage. Runs exceptionally well and looks brand new. I bought the car from the original owner's widow in 2004. It has new tires, leather interior, and all options available in 2000, including head up display. 

“The CARFAX report is incorrect! My best friend bought this Corvette directly from Michigan where his brother was the general manager at the Chevrolet factory that produced the 2000 Corvette. My best friend died in 2001, and his wife took the Corvette to Florida when she moved there. In 2004, she was ready to sell the Corvette to me, so I drove out there and picked it up. It has been in my possession ever since. 

“The mileage is correct. After my best friend passed away, his wife titled the Corvette in Florida and she made a mistake causing the title to read "not actual miles". When I bought the car and titled it in Texas, the title read "actual mileage". When I moved to New Mexico and titled it here, it said "not actual mileage". Donna tried to correct the title in Florida, they would not correct it. I tried to fix it in New Mexico and was not successful either. I hired an attorney who was able to correct the title back to actual mileage. My title states actual mileage. People make mistakes, and this was a costly one for me, but the actual mileage is correct.”
