OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
For Hagerty's first-ever RADwood Build Challenge, we tasked three well-known builders and YouTube personalities with finding and modifying their dream '80s and '90s cars and trucks into the most RAD builds they could imagine. The builds were led by Vin Anatra, Mike Burroughs, and Larry Chen in a six-part YouTube series hosted by Jason Cammisa, with the completed builds showcased at RADwood NorCal in Alameda, California on October 24th, 2026. Each competitor picked a vehicle reflective of their personality and worked within the same budget to RAD-ify their ride. They're competing for a winner-take-all $100,000 prize, split between the builder and the charity of their choice. RADwood NorCal attendees vote for their favorite build to determine the winner, and all three vehicles are being auctioned on Hagerty Marketplace with NO RESERVE. Now is your chance to take home your own RAD ride!

Never sold in the US, the Honda Accord SiR is the Japanese market's performance version of the fifth-generation Accord, powered by the same high-revving 2.2L H22A DOHC VTEC four-cylinder found in the Prelude SiR. It arrived as Honda was campaigning the Accord in the Japanese Touring Car Championship, and it was offered as a sedan or wagon.
Larry Chen is an automotive photographer and content creator known for his motorsport and car culture photography and his YouTube channel. He was one of three builders selected for Hagerty's first RADwood Build Challenge, in which each contestant was given the same budget to buy and build a car for a fan-voted finale at RADwood NorCal.
Leveraging his personal affinity forJDM car culture, Chen sourced this Accord SiR from overseas and had it shipped to the U.S., where his team prepared the chassis and fitted a custom-made turbo kit. The H22A was built by Tom Jung with forged internals, and it now breathes through a Garrett turbocharger with a hood-dump wastegate and a custom MagnaFlow exhaust system.
The car was refinished in white with a JTCC-style and side skirts, an aftermarket front lip, and forged alloy wheels on Goodyear tires. Inside are red Sparco QRT-R racing seats, Sparco pedals, a K-Tuned billet shifter, and a Haltech uC-10 digital dash.
After being displayed at RADWood NorCal, the car is scheduled to be displayed at the Speciality Equipment Manufacturer's Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.
