The Volvo 200 series debuted in the fall of 1974 and quickly became a cult classic. It was loved by both commuters and car enthusiasts alike, thanks to its practical, populist design. The boxy, slab-sided 240 Wagon was particularly popular. With its sturdy build quality and square shape, the 200 Series was dubbed the "Brick," with many considering it the finest Volvo ever produced. Due to their inherent sturdiness, Volvo created a High Mileage Ownership Club, which awarded special badges to drivers for every 50,000 miles driven, starting at 100,000 miles and leading up to the impressive 1,000,000 mile mark. Ownership History 

According to the original window sticker, this 1993 Volvo 240 Classic Limited Wagon was purchased from Garden State Volvo, now Volvo Cars Manasquan, New Jersey, in April 1993. The car was then used on a limited basis, but regularly serviced by the selling dealer and one independent shop, as per the accompanying clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report. In October 2023 the car was sold on Hagerty Marketplace and is now offered with an additional 44 miles on the odometer.
