Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Evolution-era Sportster established the template that Harley-Davidson would follow for decades — an air-cooled V-twin in a lightweight, low-slung chassis that delivered performance in a package accessible enough for new riders and satisfying enough to keep experienced ones interested. The XLH883 Deluxe added chrome trim, a stepped two-up seat, and additional cosmetic content including wire spoke wheels over the standard 883, making it the dressed-up expression of the lineup's entry-level displacement.
This 1992 XLH883 Deluxe was purchased new by the seller in September 1991 from Pomona Valley Harley-Davidson in Pomona, California, and it relocated with the seller to New Mexico in 1997. Now showing just over 14,000 miles, the seller reports that the Candy Ruby paint still presents as new.
Upgrades over the stock configuration include a Screaming Eagle performance ignition package, Kuryakyn air cleaner, Progressive Suspension rear shocks and fork lowering kit, Corbin seat, an aftermarket exhaust, with numerous chromed accessories added throughout. A tachometer has also been added.
This 1992 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH883 Deluxe is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, original purchase documents, service records, multiple keys, and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name.
