Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Chevrolet's K1500 Silverado, part of the fourth-generation C/K series, debuted in 1988 and continued through the ’90s as a rugged yet refined full-size pickup. Produced in an era when pickup trucks were evolving from workhorses into versatile daily drivers, the GMT400 platform brought significant innovations like a more aerodynamic body, independent front suspension for improved ride quality, and electronic fuel injection. By 1992, the K1500 had fully transitioned into this modernized form, offering both two-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations, and a range of engines including the popular 5.7-liter V8.
The Silverado trim was the top-tier offering and featured upgraded interior materials, power accessories, and optional extended cab configurations. It was praised for its balance of performance and comfort, with a towing capacity and payload that made it ideal for both work and recreation. The 1992 model also marked the full integration of crew cabs and SUVs into the GMT400 line, ending the long running “Rounded Line” series.
This 1992 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado 4x4 has been meticulously maintained and received a 5.7-liter V8 engine replacement under previous ownership.
