Description
The 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1LE was a rare, track-focused variant born from showroom stock racing. Introduced in the late 1980s, the 1LE package eliminated comfort features like air conditioning and added performance upgrades such as heavy-duty brakes, aluminum driveshaft, and suspension enhancements. In 1991, the Z28 received a refreshed look with ground effects and a new grille, while the 1LE retained its purpose-built nature. Power was by the 5.0L or 5.7L V8.
This 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 coupe is one of just 478 examples believed produced for the model year equipped with the 1LE Performance Package. Originally sold new at Phil Wright Chevrolet-Buick in Russellville, Arkansas, the car is finished in Bright Red over gray leather upholstery. Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential, and a G92 performance axle ratio. Features include 16-inch aluminum wheels, a front lip spoiler, rear wing, cruise control, power door locks, and a cassette stereo.
Showing only 195 total miles with some interior items still in factory wrappers, this rare 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1LE is now offered in California by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX history report, its original tires, factory window sticker, build sheet, manufacturer’s literature, recent service records, and a clean North Carolina title.
