Description
“Designed by Pininfarina to transcend fleeting trends with style,” said Alfa Romeo of its Spider. “A sports car in the true sense of the word.”
The 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider traced its lineage directly to the original 1966 Spider, carrying forward an evolved version of the Pininfarina-designed body that had become one of Italy’s most recognizable automotive shapes. By 1991, the Spider had entered its Series 4 era, featuring integrated bumpers, refined aerodynamics, and contemporary updates while retaining its unmistakable character.
Power came from Alfa Romeo’s rev-happy 2.0-liter twin-cam inline-four engine, paired with a smooth 5-speed manual transmission. Rear-wheel drive, four-wheel disc brakes, responsive steering, and Bosch electronic fuel injection combined to deliver an engaging and rewarding driving experience.
Showing approximately 33,500 miles from new, this one-owner example is finished in Rosso Alfa over a two-tone Beige vinyl interior with black trim and a black soft top. Recent service includes a replacement battery and Bosch fuel pump. The seller reports the zero miles since 2016, "is due to the car being in storage and the owners moving to a lake property. The pontoon boat got all the use."
This 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Series 4 is now offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner at no reserve with a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and clean Wisconsin title in the current owner's name.

Additional Information
The selling broker states, “Mechanically, it runs and drives but should be gone through. The tires and gas are old, and it could probably benefit from a tune up. The battery and Bosch fuel pump are new. This vehicle has been stored for a large number of years and should probably be safety checked prior to street use. We did properly prep the engine before attempting to start it.
“Cosmetically, the paint is great but does have marks and nicks from storage as shown. The top has several stress cracks in the vinyl as well. The door jambs and door corners are amazing; the underbody and floor pans are also in incredible shape. Look at the underbody photos we have included for a gauge of condition.
“Due to the age and nature of collector automobiles, we cannot guarantee that every vehicle function will work as it originally did when the vehicle was new. These components are typically 30-60 years old or more and may need attention and service.
“In addition, many of our vehicles are from estates and have been stored and not driven. When vehicles sit for periods of time or once they are driven, issues can arise without warning.
“Due to age, all vehicles are sold strictly as-is without warranty or set aside. Pre-purchase inspections are encouraged and welcome while the auction is running.”
