The 1989 Cadillac Seville marked a refined chapter in Cadillac’s pursuit of modern luxury. As part of the fourth generation (1986–1991), the Seville adopted a front-wheel-drive layout and a transverse-mounted 4.5-liter V8 engine, producing 155 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. This configuration offered improved traction and packaging efficiency, aligning with the industry’s shift toward more space-conscious designs.
