Description
OFFERED AT NO RESERVE
The Cutlass Supreme had been Oldsmobile’s premium mid-size offering since the 1960s, but 1988 stood out as the only model year in which the Supreme was simultaneously available in both rear-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive.
Oldsmobile introduced the all-new FWD Cutlass Supreme on GM's W-body platform, while at the same time it continued to build the older RWD G-body car. To distinguish between the two, the automaker renamed the rear-wheel version the Cutlass Supreme Classic. The 1988 Classic was offered with five trim options, including the luxury-oriented Brougham, which provided additional brightwork and an upgraded interior.
This ’88 Class Brougham is finished in White with a Dark Blue vinyl landau roof over blue button-tufted velour upholstery. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8 engine with four-barrel carburetor, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Additional features include Soft-Ray tinted windows, 14” steel wheels with wire wheel discs and Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, Delco-GM AM/FM/cassette stereo with clock, cruise control, and a tilt steering wheel.
This 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a window sticker, dated Oldsmobile Pre-Delivery Inspection Sheet, Oldsmobile book and owner’s guides, an additional set of tires, a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Michigan title in the current owner's name.
