From the seller, "I bought the car at the Porsche dealer in October 1987. This was right after the financial crash of ’87, where the market dropped by around 25%. I was in the financial business and just back from a business trip to Europe, where, in one of my speeches, I predicted a market crash. Living up to my research at the time of the crash, I had moved out of stocks, so I felt I needed to celebrate and bought my 911 Carrera. I loved shipping my car to the Rockies in the summer, where it’s so much fun driving those great roads."
