The Pontiac Parisienne was originally a Canada-specific model introduced in 1958, based on the Chevrolet Impala. By 1983, the name was sold in the United States on the largest Pontiac four-door sedan, positioned as a full-size, rear-wheel-drive vehicle on the GM B platform, the fifth and last generation of the Parisienne name produced from 1977-1989.
The Pontiac Parisienne offered a wide range of engines from a 3.8-liter V6 or optional gasoline or diesel V8s, backed with a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. The Parisienne Brougham variant further enhanced the driving experience with its well-appointed interior, featuring a standard 55/45 split seat with center arm support and reclining passenger backrest, ensuring the ultimate in 80s comfort.
“Experience the full-size luxury that only Pontiac can offer with the distinctive Parisienne,” said the manufacturer. Like this showroom-fresh Parisienne Brougham in unmolested preserved condition, having traveled just 6,767 miles since leaving Arnold Palmer Motors in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in 1985.
This 1985 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham is finished in Black with a Tan velour cloth interior and shows just 6,767 miles.
