Description
By the 1980s, the Cutlass had become well-established as Oldsmobile's best selling car. General Motors leaned into this, offering the Cutlass in a variety of formats from economical transportation, to personal luxury, all the way up to multiple performance variants.
The Hurst/Olds Cutlass was offered only for the 1983 and 1984 model years. A reported 3,001 units were produced for the 1983 model year, with a grand total of 6,501 produced across both years. For 1983, these models were designated as 15th Anniversary Editions, marking 15 years of partnership between Hurst and Oldsmobile. Black/silver two-tone exterior paint was the only option, and this is also the only Cutlass that was ever available with the optional Hurst Lightning Rods shifter.
This 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds 15th Anniversary Edition is finished in black/silver paint with a red cloth interior. It features a factory optional sunroof, cruise control, power windows, and a power driver's seat. Under the hood sits a 5.0L (307ci) V8 mated to an automatic transmission. This Cutlass is also equipped with the optional Lightning Rods shifter.
First registered in Michigan, the car was later registered in Maryland and Oklahoma, where it was acquired by the seller in 2025.
This 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds 15th Anniversary Edition is now offered with a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.
