Description
The 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380 SL was a luxurious example of the R107-based SL-Class, produced from 1971 to 1989. And its classic roadster body wasn’t just sleek — it was also rigid, and packed with safety features like a reinforced passenger cell and energy-absorbing crumple zones.
The 380 SL’s suspension used a double-wishbone front and semi-trailing arm rear setup, offering a balance of comfort and handling. And when it was time for the well-heeled driver to put their foot down, a 3.8-liter V8 engine featuring Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection delivered 155 hp through a smooth-shifting four-speed automatic transmission.
And of course, the 380 SL came standard with a removable hardtop and a folding soft top, making it a versatile grand tourer. It was a symbol of 1980s luxury and engineering precision — and remains so today.
This 380 SL is beautifully finished in silver blue paint with a tan leather interior.

It has been garaged, and the factory silver blue metallic paint has no rust and shines beautifully. The body, hard top, and leather interior are in great condition. Original floormats are in good condition, white cross medical kit is all original as the boxes have not been opened, and all original tools are included.”
