Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Introduced in 1962, the MG MGB became one of the most successful and recognizable British sports cars ever produced. Powered by a 1.8-liter B-Series four-cylinder engine, it offered a balance of spirited performance, simplicity, and affordability that appealed to enthusiasts around the world.

Over its 18-year production run, the car evolved through a series of mechanical, safety, and emissions updates, particularly for the North American market. Rubber impact bumpers were introduced in 1974 to meet U.S. regulations, becoming a defining feature of later cars.

This 1980 MGB wears Limited Edition graphics, commemorating the final year of MGB production. The roadster is finished in black paint with silver body stripes and MGB/Union Jack decals along the rocker panels, a black convertible top, LE wheels with MG center caps, an MG Limited Edition dash plate, and a North American MGB Register dash plate (No. 9-4137). Its 1.8L inline-four is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox.

Additional features include a black interior with tan vinyl upholstery on the bucket seats and doors, a front air dam/spoiler, black rubber bumpers, and front disc brakes.

This 1980 MG MGB is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with black floor mats and tonneau cover, service receipts, and a clean Michigan title in the current owner's name.
