Description
The General Motors C/K series of pickup trucks emerged as the renowned successor to the Task Force era, solidifying its position as the marque's most celebrated light truck. The third generation, known for its straight lines and distinctive hard, parallel edges, earned the moniker "the square body" and achieved significant sales success, remaining in production with styling changes until 1991.
For 1975, Chevrolet introduced the Scottsdale and Silverado trims and expanded to offer a C20 four-door pickup in response to extended-cabs from both Ford and Dodge. The Scottsdale trim level was known for its upgraded interior options over the more basic Cheyenne trim, which included cloth interior and optional bucket seats. The C20 Scottsdale was a two-wheel drive 3/4-ton pickup. In 1976, C20 engine displacement decals were removed from the grille and faux woodgrain exterior trim was discontinued, while interior woodgrain trim for door panels and dashboard remained.
This 1976 C20 Scottsdale offers interior wood trim and was sold with a vinyl bench seat, that has since been updated with a saddle blanket finish. Living most of its life as a work truck, this two-owner C20 was previously purchased from an estate and is being offered to the public after years of maintenance to maintain road readiness.

Ownership History
This two-owner 1976 Chevrolet C20 Scottsdale was purchased from the original owner’s family in 2014. The original owner purchased the C20 in late 1975 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and it was used as a long-time work truck. After he passed away, the family kept the truck stationery at their house until the current owner purchased the truck and prepared the vehicle for road-worthy work again. The owner states that the truck has been garage kept and used for light work and hauling in non-winter months.
