Built by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) under the Austin-Healey marque, the 1959-67 Austin-Healey 3000 was the successor to the 100-6 and was a member of the "Big Healey" family. The 3000 was available in both 2+2 and two-seat configurations and was known for its elegant styling and strong performance. The 3000 gained a solid reputation in international motorsport, particularly in European rallying, where it competed in events like the Monte Carlo Rally and the Alpine Rally. Its combination of power, durability, and relatively lightweight construction made it a formidable competitor. 

With that motorsport history in mind, this Austin-Healey 3000 Race Car Replica has been built on the chassis of a 1974 Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle). The fiberglass-bodied sports car has the look of a 3000, but under its skin it employs the rear-mounted 1600cc air-cooled flat-four engine of the Beetle, along with its four-speed manual transmission. Among the car’s features are racing livery, spoked wheels, roll bars, racing seats and belts, and other upgrades.
