Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray marked a pivotal transition in the third-generation (C3) lineup, as it was the first Corvette to feature a urethane front bumper, replacing the traditional chrome to meet new federal impact standards, while the rear bumper remained chrome for one more year. This model emphasized comfort and refinement, introducing improved sound insulation and radial tires, making it 40 percent quieter than its predecessor. The standard L48 350 cubic-inch V8 produced 190 horsepower and production totaled 30,464 units, with coupes dominating sales.

Purchased by the seller from its original owner in 2014, this two-owner 1973 Stingray Coupe received custom maroon paint in 2000, along with performance upgrades in 2016, including Sportsman 2 high-performance cylinder heads, roller rockers, Edelbrock Mother Thumper cam shaft, high-performance intake, new fuel tank with electric fuel pump, and custom exhaust with side pipes. Further upgrades include a new urethane front bumper and new chrome rear bumpers in 2018, Wilwood brakes, master cylinder, and Holley EFI fuel injection in January 2018, and 18" Foose Legend wheels with new Lexani LXUHP-207 245/45ZR17 tires in July 2025.

This two-owner 1973 Chevrolet Corvette now shows less than 51k total miles, as verified by the seller and supported by the title documenting consistent mileage. It is now offered in Las Vegas, Nevada with its original retail order/invoice, additional service and ownership documentation, a car cover, spare side pipes, and a clean Indiana title.
