Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Built for a mere two model years, the long-roof 1800ES is among the rarest Volvo models ever made. Equipped with a 2.0‑liter B20F inline‑four engine with Bosch fuel injection paired with either a manual or automatic transmission, the 1800ES two-door shooting brake provided spirited performance with a dose of practicality via its all-glass rear liftgate and spacious cargo area. Production of the 1800ES ended in 1973, concluding the 1800 line after more than a decade.

Finished in yellow paint, this final-year 1973 1800ES features a 4-speed manual gearbox with electronic overdrive, and it was acquired by the seller in non-running, “barn find” condition. After replacing various fuel-system components, the seller reportedly got the fuel-injected 2.0L inline-four engine to run and states that the vehicle moves and stops under its own power. Additionally, the seller has replaced the tires, rear hatch struts, and engine oil.

This 1973 Volvo 1800ES project is now offered at no reserve with owner’s manuals, spare parts, and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name.
