Huntsville, Alabama — or “Rocket City,” as we know it — is home to NASA rocket-propulsion research and development. This special offering is once again a presentation of the unique, with American Muscle, British class, and heavy post war iron from multiple platforms all on offer. These cars are ready for blastoff, and all will be launched to new homes and garages as all lots are presented with NO RESERVE.    * * *

In the mid‑1930s, brothers Richard and Allan Jensen purchased a small coachbuilding firm in West Bromwich, England, transforming it into Jensen Motors. They quickly earned strong praise for their craftsmanship and design. Decades later, it was the dramatic second‑generation Interceptor that firmly established Jensen among Europe’s premier Grand Touring marques. Introduced in 1971, the Jensen Interceptor III represented the final and most refined development of the company’s flagship model. Building upon the Touring‑designed body first seen in 1966, the Mark III elevated the formula with its blend of British hand‑built quality and the raw power of an American V8.

By the early 1970s, rising luxury standards prompted Jensen to update the Interceptor with a cleaner front end, new alloy wheels, upgraded cooling, and a richly appointed interior featuring deep‑grain leather and elegant wood trim—amenities aimed at buyers considering an Aston Martin or Maserati. Power came from Chrysler’s formidable 440‑cubic‑inch V8, providing smooth, effortless performance despite tightening emissions rules. Although the Interceptor remained glamorous and capable, economic pressures and fuel‑crisis challenges ultimately ended production in 1976. This 1973 Interceptor III is not only a late‑series Mk III, but also one of just 424 left‑hand‑drive examples.

This 1973 Jensen Interceptor III is now represented by a Broad Arrow Specialist at no reserve in Georgia with, magazine articles, service documentation, refurbishment documentation, and a clean Ohio title in the current owner's name.
