Description
The 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme took the final year of the first-generation A-body design out in style.
As one of the most luxurious intermediate cars of its time, the Cutlass Supreme blended muscle car looks with opulent surroundings, including premium cloth or vinyl seats, woodgrain trim, and numerous power and accessory options. And thanks to an available convertible body style, the upscale Cutlass Supreme was able to combine the coupe’s sleek styling with a power drop top.
Under the hood, Cutlass Supreme buyers could choose from several V8 engines, including the standard L34 350ci V8. Transmissions included three-speed manual or automatic versions, and a sporty yet comfortable suspension smoothed out the bumps.
This model solidified Oldsmobile’s reputation for style, comfort, and performance. And because reportedly only 11,571 Cutlass Supreme Convertibles were built in 1972, they are increasingly rare.
This example was purchased by the seller in 2010. It is finished in blue with black upholstery, has a black convertible top, rides on 14” wheels, and features a luxury interior replete with a factory 8-track player. And it is said to have been serviced with replacement shocks, brakes, and wheels, along with paint work and a refreshed top, boot, and upholstery.
This 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible is now offered with factory hubcaps and a clean Illinois title in the seller's name.

I’m now ready to give her to a new owner who will love her as I have. She has been stored every year from September to May, and is in good shape.”
