Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1970 Ford Thunderbird showcased a bold new design and a shift in market positioning. Moving away from its earlier sporty roots, the Thunderbird embraced a more luxurious, personal car identity. The 1970 model featured a dramatic "bird beak" front end. Built on the same platform as the Lincoln Continental Mark III, the Thunderbird came as a coupe or four-door sedan. Powered by a 429ci V8 engine, Ford aimed the Thunderbird at buyers seeking comfort and prestige, aligning it with personal luxury coupes like the Buick Riviera and Oldsmobile Toronado.
This 1970 Thunderbird coupe is finished in metallic green with a black vinyl roof cover. The front bench seat is upholstered in green vinyl and complemented by color-coordinated carpets. Additional features include an aftermarket stereo, power-operated windows, and 15" steel wheels with Thunderbird-branded covers.
This Thunderbird is now offered with a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.
