Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Three model years after a major redesign, the aerodynamic C3 Corvette was as beautiful as ever. The 1970 model wore a 182-inch, Coke bottle-shaped body that followed the classic long hood/short deck sports car design. And it showed off flared, rounded fenders and a prominent flying buttress roofline flowing into a decklid spoiler. And the body was finished with just the right amount of brightwork on the bumpers, grille, and new egg crate-style side louvers. Simply put, this C3 was both incredibly unique and very sultry.
And thanks to three 350 small-blocks and two 454 big-blocks, it was also a powerful beauty. Those mills were connected to either a four-speed manual or three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Combined with the fully independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes, the 1970 Corvette was a well-rounded, high-performance machine.
This 1970 Corvette is driving history, with numbers matching engine that allows its next owner to row gears through a four-speed manual. Complimented by power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning, while wearing Monza Red paint, this Vette is ready for the road!
