Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1970 Plymouth Road Runner was a standout in the golden era of American muscle cars, offering raw performance at an affordable price. Designed to appeal to younger buyers, it stripped away unnecessary luxury in favor of power and attitude. The heart of this Road Runner is the 383ci Magnum V8, a high-performance big-block engine delivering 335 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. When paired with the 4-speed manual transmission and a pistol-grip shifter, it offered a visceral driving experience that defined the muscle car era.
Purchased by the seller’s father in 2004 and changing titled ownership status in 2024, this Road Runner is presented as a non-running project after sitting for five-plus years. The car was reportedly refinished in factory (EB5) Blue Fire Metallic paint and features a blue vinyl bench seat interior.
This Road Runner project is now offered with its factory broadcast sheet, an inspection report from December 2024, spare parts as detailed below, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.

Ownership History
This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner was purchased by the seller’s father in 2004 and enjoyed as a weekend cruiser and frequent attendee at local car shows. Over time, its use gradually declined, and according to the seller’s recollection, the car has been parked for at least five years. In 2024, ownership was transferred to the seller, who—after discussing restoration costs with family—made the decision to offer the vehicle for sale in as-is condition.

Additional Information
From the seller, “Driving this classic 4-speed muscle car as teenagers with our dad in the 2000s was a privilege for my brother and myself. Unfortunately, we do not have the storage space for it or the means to repair it ourselves. It will be missed.”
This vehicle holds a title brand for the odometer exceeding mechanical limits.
