Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

As part of the third generation (C3), which debuted in 1968, the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette refined many of the previous year’s design and engineering elements. It retained the aggressive “shark” styling inspired by the Mako Shark II concept, but addressed criticisms of the 1968 model with improved build quality, interior ergonomics, and mechanical reliability.

Under the hood, the Corvette offered a range of powerful V8 engines, including the legendary 427ci big-block, which produced up to 435 horsepower in its most potent form. This made the ’69 Corvette one of the fastest production cars of its time. Transmission options included a three-speed automatic and a four-speed manual, catering to both cruising and performance driving.

This 1969 Corvette is finished in red with a black convertible top over black upholstery. Power is provided by a replacement V8 and sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The car rides on 15” Rally wheels, and an aftermarket steering wheel has been mounted along with a polished luggage rack.
