Description

Introduced for the 1959 model year, the Chevrolet El Camino carved out a unique niche by blending passenger-car comfort with pickup utility. Revived in 1964 on the Chevelle platform, it became a defining symbol of the muscle car era, offering V8 performance with everyday practicality. The second-generation redesign arrived in ‘68 featuring sculpted “Coke-bottle” styling, with the ‘69 model year widely regarded as one of the most desirable El Camino models.

Acquired by the current owner approximately 15 years ago, this El Camino has been the subject of a long-term build focused on improved performance and drivability, with the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and rear end all modernized. Finished in white with black side stripes and a black vinyl roof, it has been upgraded with a GM crate engine, electronic fuel injection, and contemporary suspension and braking components.

Power comes from a GM Performance 502ci V8 crate engine equipped with a Holley Sniper electronicfuel injection system and supported by upgraded cooling and ignition components. A four-speed GM 4L85E automatic transmission with MSD electronic control sends power to a Moser 12‑bolt rear axle with Truetrac differential. Additional upgrades include QA1 coilovers, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and an aluminum driveshaft. The black vinyl interior features dash-mounted AutoMeter auxiliary gauges.

This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino is now offered with various manuals, accessories, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
