Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The first-generation Camaro was a natural Mustang fighter. From 1967–1969 it sold well, won Trans-Am Series races, and diverted attention from its Ford rival. And thanks to 120 factory options and dealer accessories — including engines from the entry-level 230ci inline-six to the potent 396ci V8 — the new Camaro had something for everyone.
In 1969, Camaro’s design got more aggressive with squared-off wheel arches, a V-shaped grille, vented rear quarter panels, and a sleek rear valance panel — with many considering the 1969 model the high water mark. And thanks to their continued popularity today, first-gen Camaros have been wildly modified with more powerful powertrains, performance upgrades, and visual enhancements.
And this 1969 Camaro is one of them: after a comprehensive build into a Pro Street machine that included drivetrain, chassis, body, and interior upgrades, this street-legal monster is now set up for drag radial racing. It’s powered by a massive, nitrous-huffing 565ci V8, and reportedly runs a neck-snapping 9.8 second quarter-mile on motor and 8.90 seconds on nitrous.
