Description

The revolutionary 1967–72 GM trucks were designed by Harry Bentley Bradley — who also designed Mattel’s first Hot Wheels diecast. Often referred to as the "Action Line,” this generation shifted perceptions of trucks from pure work vehicles to lifestyle vehicles with cleaner body lines, a longer hood, and integrated fenders. However, its standout feature was ride quality: a four-wheel coil-sprung suspension combined with its ladder-type frame and thick-foam bench seat delivered a smooth, comfortable driving experience.

The 1969 model received an aggressively sloped hood and a redesigned grille for a more utilitarian appearance and was available with fleetside or stepside beds, 115- or 127-inch wheelbases, manual or automatic transmissions, and a range of engines, including the proven 250ci inline-six.

This ‘69 Stepside example was refurbished under current ownership with work that reportedly included an overhaul of its 250ci inline-six engine and column-shifted three-speed manual transmission in addition to performing rust repairs, repainting the body metallic blue, reupholstering the interior in two-tone blue vinyl, and installing maple wood in the bed floor.

This 1969 Chevrolet C10 stepside pickup is now offered with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
