Description

Introduced for the 1967 model year, the Camaro was Chevrolet’s answer to the growing pony car segment, combining sporty styling, V8 performance, and a wide range of factory options that made the model an ideal platform for customization. The 1968 model received subtle styling revisions along with a number of safety improvements. One of the most notable changes was the elimination of the quarter vent windows in favor of a one-piece door glass design, giving the Camaro a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe is powered by a 327 cubic-inch V8 engine paired with a replacement three-speed automatic transmission reportedly sourced from a 1970s-era Chevrolet. Originally finished in Ash Gold, this Camaro hardtop was refinished in Matador Red with black stripes and features the Rally Sport signature concealed headlights, front and rear spoilers, four-wheel disc brake conversion, staggered 17-inch Ridler wheels, and a custom two-tone red and black diamond-stitched interior.

Additional features include an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, an MSD ignition system, an aluminum radiator, a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, an aftermarket audio system, and a dual exhaust system with performance headers and bowtie tips.

This modified 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe is now offered with spare parts, a factory assembly instruction manual, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
