Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
For over a century after its founding by Christopher Columbus Smith in 1874, Chris-Craft was known for building beautiful, high-quality boats in a multitude of sizes. Under the leadership of Smith’s son, Jay Smith, who took the helm in 1927, Chris-Craft became known as the world’s largest builder of mahogany powerboats.
This 1967 Chris-Craft 25’ Sea Hawk Sportsman was one of only 95 built by the Sea Skiff division between 1966 and 1967. Designed for versatility and durability, the Sea Hawk Sportsman featured a semi-V hull ideal for handling larger bodies of water, making it popular for both fishing and recreational cruising. Powered by a 283 ci V8 marine engine, it offers solid performance and reliability. The Sea Hawk Sportsman combines classic styling with practical features, and its craftsmanship and rugged build reflect Chris-Craft’s legacy in American recreational boating.
This rare Sea Hawk Sportsman was originally built in Algonac, Michigan, the home of Chris Craft, and shipped to Jefferson Beach Marine in St. Clair Shores, Michigan just 30 miles south. This boat has kept the original distinctive Lobster Red interior look, Chris Craft Blue hull sides, and a matching convertible top. The original 283 engine has been upgraded to a Crusader 327ci V8 rated at 225 hp.
