Description
The Volkswagen Beetle is a two-door, rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive sedan that stayed in production in gradually updated form for decades. The 1967 model year brought one of the more significant updates of the car’s early life, including more upright headlights, larger bumpers, and dual-circuit brakes, as well as a switch from 6-volt to 12-volt electrics on U.S.-market cars. A 1,500cc engine was also introduced that year, and enthusiasts bookmark the 1967 Beetle as a one-year-only variant because of its combination of body and equipment changes.
According to the seller, who acquired the car in 2025, this Beetle was delivered new in navy blue and was repainted in light blue before under previous ownership, along with a matching two-tone interior reupholstery. The car is fitted with a luggage rack on the decklid, five-spoke alloy wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a Pioneer head unit.
This Beetle is now powered by a replacement 1,200cc air-cooled flat four, which is paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. The car's braking system has been modified with front discs.
This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle is now offered with its removed radio and steering wheel and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name.
