Description

The Chevrolet El Camino blends passenger‑car comfort with light‑duty utility, and the 1967 model year is widely regarded as one of the most desirable thanks to its clean Chevelle‑based styling. This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino combines classic muscle‑era aesthetics with modern performance. Finished in Sherwin‑Williams Ultra 7000 Tri‑Coat “Red Matador Mica,” it features extensive mechanical, cosmetic, and comfort modifications.

This ‘67 El Camino has remained within the same family since 1970. The car is said to have been driven into the 1970s and beyond before being parked for an extended period. The refurbishment effort began in 2012 and was finalized following the seller’s retirement. Since the completion of the build, approximately 500 miles are said to have been added.

Power is now provided by a 350ci V8 fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, ProComp aluminum cylinder heads, and a COMP Cam. The engine is paired with a TCI Street Fighter four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and an overhauled limited-slip rear differential with 3.73 gearing, and the truck features Classic Performance Products (CPP) suspension components, QA1 coilovers and four‑wheel disc brakes behind Foose wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. The interior has been re‑trimmed and features Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, and an aftermarket audio system.

This modified 1967 Chevrolet El Camino is now offered with build documentation, ownership history details , and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.

Ownership History

From the seller: “This El Camino has been in our family since 1970, purchased from the original owner who lived next door. My wife drove it in high school during the 1970s, and later her mother used it as a daily driver. After many years in storage, we began a frame‑up restoration in 2012 that progressed slowly due to career demands.

I finally completed the project after retiring and moving to Reno in 2021. Since completion, the car has accumulated about 450 miles. It runs, drives, and presents exceptionally well, but it deserves to be driven and enjoyed, which is why we’ve decided to part with it.”
