Description
The 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu was a standout model in Chevrolet’s mid-size lineup, blending performance and style. As part of the second-generation Chevelle, the 1966 Malibu featured a more sculpted body with a rakish front-end design and a new grille and tail section. It was available in several body styles, including coupe, sedan, convertible, and station wagon.
The Malibu trim level offered upscale touches like deluxe interiors and additional chrome accents. Under the hood, buyers could choose from a range of engines, from the economical inline-six to powerful V8s. Though not as performance-focused as the SS396 variant, the Malibu was popular among families and daily drivers for its comfort and reliability.
The Malibu’s effortless style helped solidify the Chevelle’s reputation as one of Chevrolet’s most successful models of the 1960s. And nearly 60 years later, they’re still in high demand.
This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is straight and clean in turquoise paint, and its professionally rebuilt drivetrain is ready for years of cruising.

Ownership History
The consignor states, “Lifelong Arizona car until I purchased it 12 years ago. Professional restoration in California with a very high-quality paint job. Super straight and rust-free, I’ve seen no evidence of rust or heavy body fillers. Undercarriage was not restored but everything is in good condition with no signs of corrosion. Rubber seals appear to be new, and the doors, hood, and trunk open and shut as they should, with no sagging or binding."
“Professionally built 383 stroker with complete Edelbrock power package, pushing around 435hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. Easily over $10,000 in the engine bay.”
