Description
Introduced in 1960, the Ranchero combined the utility of a pickup with the compact dimensions and car-like driving characteristics of Ford's Falcon platform. Sharing its front sheet metal and passenger compartment with the Falcon, the Ranchero offered practical cargo-hauling capability in a smaller package than traditional pickups.
Positioned above the standard Ranchero, the Deluxe model added upgraded exterior trim and interior appointments, further bridging the gap between a utility vehicle and a passenger car.
This 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero Deluxe is now powered by a 302ci reportedly bored .030 over V8 equipped with Holley Sniper fuel injection and an MSD ignition system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9-inch limited-slip rear axle. Finished in dark blue metallic over black and blue vinyl upholstery, the Ranchero is equipped with four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes, power steering, aftermarket bucket seats, AutoMeter digital instrumentation, a retro-style Bluetooth stereo system, and American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.
This modified 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero Deluxe is now offered with a clean Washington State title in the seller's name.
