Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
“Chevrolet Suburban—America’s most popular all-purpose vehicle.” The 1964 Chevrolet Suburban marked a pivotal evolution in the Suburban’s long lineage, blending utility with emerging family-friendly design.
As part of the fifth generation, it retained its truck-based roots but introduced a more refined, wagon-like body style. Built on the C/K pickup chassis, the 1964 model featured a two-door configuration with seating for up to eight passengers, making it ideal for both work and family use. It offered rear-wheel or four-wheel drive options, and came with a range of inline-six and V8 engines, including the popular 283 cubic-inch V8.
The model’s rugged construction and spacious interior made it a favorite among rural families, small businesses, and government fleets, and its design laid the groundwork for today’s roomy, comfortable SUVs.
And this fresh 1964 Suburban 4x4 build blends Chevy history with modern performance. It is equipped with a powerful LS3 engine, an auto transmission, a custom interior, an upgraded suspension, and big tires for off-road fun.

Ownership History
This 1964 Chevrolet Suburban restomod has been recently refurbished, with only 130 miles on the build. The powertrain is thought to be from a 2012 Camaro SS. The consignor states, “This was a Rick Treworgy’s Muscle Car City museum piece. It was sold when they closed down in 2021. The seller bought it at auction and had the engine and interior redone to make it a driver.”
