Description
In 1961, the C1 generation Corvette was in its penultimate model year and received major styling changes, including the iconic quad round taillights and a new sculpted “ducktail” rear end, which was derived from the ‘59 Stingray Racer concept.
The exhaust outlets were relocated from the bumper guards to below the rear valance, the grille “teeth” were removed in favor of a horizontal mesh pattern, and windshield washers, an interior courtesy light, sunvisors, and a parking brake warning light became standard options.
Approximately 10,939 Corvettes were built before production ended in July 1961.
This ‘61 Vette has been with its current owner since May 2022, and it wears a Roman Red finish with Ermine White side coves over red vinyl upholstery. Its front brakes have been converted to power-assisted discs, and power is provided by a 283ci V8, which is paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is now offered with a clean Indiana title.

Additional Information
From the seller: “This is a beautiful 1961 C1 in Roman Red with white coves. 283 V8 paired with the tow-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Certainly, a head turner at the car shows, yet it is not a trailer queen. This is a perfect Sunday driver.”
