Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

“You want to know how much pure fun can be slung between four wheels?”

Even in its basic form Corvette was like no other American automobile in 1959. This 1959 Corvette, powered by the standard 230 horsepower, 283 cu-in version of Chevy’s famed “small block” V8, is proof. It’s paired with the available four-speed synchromesh manual transmission for more pure fun. The 1959 Corvette’s interior included relocated door handles and window cranks for greater comfort, and a passenger side parcel tray for greater convenience.

This example features Snowcrest White with Inca Silver coves, and a white convertible top that’s sure to never go unnoticed. The car was optioned with the vented full wheel discs with white wall tires. The red interior was restored and is presented in excellent restored condition, complimented by a more modern AM/FM/Cassette radio and air conditioning. In 1959 Sports Car Illustrated magazine concluded, “For all around performance per dollar, the Corvette is hard to beat.” It still is today.
