Description
Blessed with a voluptuous body adorned with jet-age fins and hood rockets, the classic 1957 Chevy wears some of the most groundbreaking styling ever designed. It was available in two- and four-door coupes and sedans, wagons, and droptops in several trim levels, with the Bel Air two-door convertible considered by many as one of the most desirable classics ever made.
The uplevel Bel Air wore silver trim and chrome like the 210 and 150 versions, but added gold accents in the grille and side fender louvers, on the front and rear Chevrolet script and V, and on the fin trim. Stainless fin strakes, longer top-fin brightwork, and larger wheel covers also helped differentiate the Bel Air.
The large cabin welcomed occupants with a comfortable bench seat wearing premium upholstery, with the steering wheel framing a large central speedometer and a unique dashboard design featuring a gold Bel Air script. The driver controlled either a six-cylinder, or a 265- or 283 cu-in V8, with a three-speed manual or a two-speed Powerglide handling the horsepower.
This stunning 1957 Chevy Bel Air two-door convertible is an older restoration that’s been garage-kept, ready for its next owner.
