Description
“The Bel Air Sport Sedan: you’re headed for wide-open pleasure in this spirited new hardtop.” When the 1957 Bel Air Sport Sedan debuted, it was clear that adding two more doors didn’t diminish this Chevrolet’s incredible styling.
One of eight different 1957 styles, this model featured an airy four-door hardtop design, with no B pillar separating the front and rear windows. It was finished in Bel Air’s uplevel gold and silver brightwork and chrome, dressed in comfortable, luxurious cloth and vinyl — and in many cases, motivated by Chevy’s powerful Turbo-Fire 265- and 283-cubic-inch V8s. Chevrolet only built 142,518 Bel Air Sport Sedans — representing only nine percent of 1957’s total production.
This 1957 Bel Air Sport Sedan has been refinished in a white over light blue two tone, with an updated matching two-tone vinyl interior. The engine and transmission have been upgraded for improved drivability, a performance front suspension was installed with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering, and a modern air conditioning system ensures comfortable cruising.
