Description
Chevrolet refreshed its Tri-Five lineup for 1956 with a full-width grille, recessed headlights, revised taillights with a fuel filler concealed behind the left-side lamp, and an expanded range of two-tone paint combinations. The Bel Air sat at the top of the range, and buyers could choose the 235ci inline-six or the 265ci V8, paired with a three-speed manual, overdrive, or the two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
This Bel Air Convertible is finished in Nassau Blue and India Ivory over a two-tone blue interior and a light blue soft top. This Flint, Michigan-built '56 Chevy is powered by a 265ci V8 fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Additional updates include Bilstein shocks, a modern radio with classic styling, and added lap belts.
This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with its convertible top boot and a clean Florida title in the current owner's name.
