Description
Introduced as part of Chevrolet’s new “Tri-Five” lineup and positioned between the economy 150 and the upscale Bel Air, the 210 blended affordability with style, making it one of Chevy’s most popular models. Its bold new design featured sleeker lines, a lowered stance, and a modern wraparound windshield. Most significant was the debut of Chevrolet’s small-block 265ci V8, a lightweight, high-revving engine that transformed the car’s performance and helped define American V8 culture. Offered in several body styles, the 210 appealed to families, enthusiasts, and hot‑rodders alike.
This 1955 210 is a refurbished 2-Door Hardtop finished in metallic champagne and bronze. Power is now provided by a serious evolution of the small-block: a 355ci V8 mated here to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and sent to a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. Tubular headers link to the dual-exhaust system, while five-spoke Cragar wheels are mounted over disc brakes up front and drums out back. Two-tone tan upholstery covers the seating surfaces and extends to the door panels, complemented by body-color painted metal surfaces.
This modified 1955 Chevrolet 210 2-Door Hardtop is now offered with service documentation and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
