This 1953 Mercury Monterey Convertible has been a cherished part of the same prominent private collection for over two decades. According to the selling dealer it is presented in “highly original condition.” It is powered by a 225-cubic-inch flathead V8 engine paired with the optional Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission. The car is finished in striking Bittersweet paint and retains its original Bittersweet and Ivory leather interior, offering a rare glimpse into Mercury’s period-correct craftsmanship and color palette.
