Description
Cadillac manufactured 59,572 cars in 1941, its most prolific production year to that point — and its last full model year until after World War II. The bountiful '41 sales were the product of a single-year turnaround by Harley Earl's design team, which resulted in one of Cadillac's most elegant designs: A sleek new torpedo-style body, paired with a robust front end, sweeping fenders, and integrated headlights. Under the hood was a refined 346‑cubic‑inch L‑head V8 engine, delivering 150 horsepower.
This triple-black 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe was reportedly restored by a previous owner and is refinished in black paint with a black canvas top and factory black leather upholstery. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through its standard three-speed manual with column shifter, commonly referred to as “three‑on‑the‑tree.” This example was originally equipped with Deluxe trim, which included an exclusive vacuum-powered top, standard fender skirts, and upgraded chrome and interior. The car features a pushbutton AM radio, heater, polished running boards, red-painted steel wheels with chrome hubs, Firestone wide whitewall tires, and Cadillac’s iconic “Flying Goddess” hood ornament.
This stylish Cadillac is now represented at no reserve by a Broad Arrow Specialist with a convertible top boot cover, spare tire, and a clean New York title.
